Kaiser Permanente has finalized an 180 MW power purchase agreement that will enable construction of utility-scale renewable 50 MW wind and 131 MW solar farms, and a large battery storage system. The solar farm and battery storage will be located in eastern Riverside County; the wind farm will be located across the border in Arizona, though the power transmission will be delivered directly to the California grid.
