Nghi Son Substation is a 500/220kV substation located in Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa, Vietnam. The construction works on Nghi Son Substation began in 2019. The project was commissioned in 2020.
The Nghi Son Substation project is a new substation being operated by National Power Transmission.
The designed voltage level of the project is 500/220kV, while the operating voltage level is 500/220kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. The substation capacity is 900MVA.
Nghi Son Substation has received approval from Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam to undertake the works on the project.
