Ningde Xiapu Offshore Wind Power Area B is a 296MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in East China Sea, Fujian, China. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2023 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2025.

Description

The project is being developed by Xiapu Mindong Offshore Wind Power. Fujian Investment and Development Group and Fujian Mindong Electric Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project is expected to generate 1,090,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $728.539m.

The wind power project consists of 37 turbines, each with 8MW nameplate capacity.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
