The project is being developed and currently owned by Nizam Energy (Pvt) and Scatec. The company’s ownership stake in the project stands as 75% and 25% respectively.
Nizam Energy Solar PV Park Phase II is a ground-mounted solar project.
The project is expected to generate 290GWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 150,000 households. The project is expected to offset 106,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $300m.
