Electricity Procurement stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the North America region in August 2021 with 32 contracts and a 47.8% share, followed by Generation Equipment with ten contracts and a 14.9% share and Power Plant with nine contracts and a 13.4% share during the month.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Power Purchase Agreement: 26 contracts and an 81.3% share
  2. Electricity Supply: six contracts and an 18.8% share.
