Electricity Procurement stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the North America region in Q3 2021 with 84 contracts and a 39.1% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 45 contracts and a 20.9% share and Power Plant with 40 contracts and an 18.6% share during the quarter.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 28 contracts and a 70% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: seven contracts and a 17.5% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: four contracts and a 10% share
