Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the North America region in January 2021 with 42 contracts and a 43.8% share, followed by Electricity Procurement with 24 contracts and a 25% share and Generation Equipment with 20 contracts and a 20.8% share during the month.

The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 39 contracts and a 92.9% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: two contracts and a 4.8% share
