T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the North America region in Q1 2021 with 277 tenders and a 39.4% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 261 tenders and a 37.1% share and Power Plant with 51 tenders and a 7.3% share during the quarter.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Supply & Erection: 16 tenders and a 48.5% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 15 tenders and a 45.5% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: two tenders and a 6.1% share.
