North America Solar technology contracts activity drops 19% in October 2021

North America solar technology contracts in October 2021 saw 30 contracts announced, marking a drop of 19% over the last 12-month average of 37, according to GlobalData’s power industry contracts database.

The proportion of solar technology contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation with 13 contracts and a 43.3% share
  2. Power Purchase Agreement: 12 contracts and a 40% share
  3. Electricity Supply: three contracts and a 10% share
  4. Supply & Erection: two contracts and a 6.7% share.

The US tops North America solar power contracts activity


The US was the top country in the North America region for solar technology contracts recorded in October 2021 with 30 contracts and a 100% share.
