T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the North America region in February 2021 with 94 tenders and a 41.2% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 83 tenders and a 36.4% share and Power Plant with 21 tenders and a 9.2% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 91 tenders and a 96.8% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three tenders and a 3.2% share.

Thermal is top technology for North America T&D equipment tenders in February 2021

Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the North America region, thermal accounted for two tenders with a 50% share, followed by wind with one tender and a 25% share and solar with one tender and a 25% share.
