Generation Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the North America region in January 2021 with 84 tenders and a 39.1% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 78 tenders and a 36.3% share and Energy Storage with 15 tenders and a 7% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 75 tenders and a 96.2% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: three tenders and a 3.8% share.

Thermal is top technology for North America T&D equipment tenders in January 2021
