North Bangkok Combined Cycle Power Plant 1 is a 704MW gas fired power project. It is located in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in September 2010.

The project is currently owned by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Yadana Gas Field.

The project cost is $730.562m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in September 2010.

Contractors Involved

Italian-Thai Development, Mitsubishi Power and Sumitomo were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

The Gas fired project have been supplied by GE Power and Mitsubishi Power.

The electric generators for the project were procured from GE Power and Mitsubishi Power.

John Cockerill Group supplied steam boiler for the project.
