North Karanpura – Chandwa Line, India

North Karanpura – Chandwa Line is a 400kV overhead line with a length of 52km from North Karanpura, Jharkhand, India, to Chandwa, Jharkhand, India.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2021.


North Karanpura – Chandwa Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Adani Power. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through quad circuit cable.

The development of the North Karanpura – Chandwa Line project has been approved by the Jharkhand State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

The construction works on the North Karanpura – Chandwa Line project were commenced in 2020 and commissioning is expected in 2021.
