Ofoten – Balsfjord Line is a 420kV overhead line with a length of 150km from Ofoten, Nordland, Norway, to Balsfjord, Troms og Finnmark, Norway.
Construction works on the Ofoten – Balsfjord Line started in 2016 and the project was commissioned in 2017.
The Ofoten – Balsfjord Line, which is an overhead line, is being operated by Statnett SF. The Ofoten – Balsfjord Line is a new line. The line carries alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.
Approximately $464.89m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.

The development of the Ofoten – Balsfjord Line project was approved by Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate in 2016 and the project works were completed in 2017.
