Oriel is a 375MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Irish Sea, Louth, Ireland. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.

The project is being developed and currently owned by Electricity Supply Board, Oriel Windfarm and Parkwind. The company’s ownership stake in the project stands as 35%, 25% respectively.

The project is expected to generate 1,500,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 300,000 households. The project is expected to offset 600,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $990.801m. The project will be spread over an area of 28km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed gravity based foundations and will be interconnected by 33kV inter-array cable.
