Description

The Ouarzazate Project Phase 3 (NOOR III) – Molten Salt Thermal Energy Storage System was developed by ACWA Power International and SENER Ingenieria y Sistemas. The project is owned by ACWA Power International (33.33%), Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (33.33%) and SENER Ingenieria y Sistemas (33.33%), a subsidiary of SENER Grupo de Ingenieria.

The key applications of the project are renewables capacity firming and renewables energy time shift.
