The project is being developed by Pachi Hydro Power Projects and is currently owned by CESC.
Pachi is a run-of-river project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 157.13m and 132.27m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 2 in number. The penstock length will be 55m. The penstock diameter will be 2.5m. The project is expected to generate 174.83 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $128.127m.
The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 30MW nameplate capacity.
The project will have 2 electric generators installed at the project site. The generator capacity is likely to be 16.67 MVA.
