PacificLight Jurong Island Power Plant is an 800MW gas fired power project. It is located in South West, Singapore. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in February 2014.

Description

The project is currently owned by PacificLight Power.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is liquefied natural gas, natural gas. In case of shortage of liquefied natural gas, natural gas the plant can also run on Fuel Oil.

The project generated 4,865,010.44MWh of electricity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in February 2014.

Contractors Involved

Samsung C&T and Siemens were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of SGT5-4000F gas turbines.

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of SST5-5000 steam turbines.

Siemens supplied SGen5-2000H, Hydrogen Cooled electric generator for the project.

Vogt Power International supplied steam boiler for the project.
