Paso de la Reina is a 543MW hydro power project. It is planned on Rio Verde river/basin in Oaxaca, Mexico. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Comision Federal de Electricidad.

The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 1.278 million cubic meter. The project is expected to generate 1,572 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $1,067.39m.

The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 271.35MW nameplate capacity.

The project has 2 electric generators that will be installed at the project site.

Development Status
