Phagi – Ajmer Line is a 765kV overhead line from Phagi, Rajasthan, India, to Ajmer, Rajasthan, India.

Construction works on the Phagi – Ajmer Line started in 2019 and the project was commissioned in 2021.


The Phagi – Ajmer Line, which is an overhead line, is being operated by REC Transmission Projects. The Phagi – Ajmer Line is a new line. The line carries alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The development of the Phagi – Ajmer Line project was approved by Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission in 2019 and the project works were completed in 2021.

Contractors involved

Power Grid Corporation of India was appointed by REC Transmission Projects to supply the cables for executing the 765kV Phagi – Ajmer Line.
