Phuket III Substation is a 500kV substation located in Phuket III, Changwat, Thailand.
The Phuket III Substation project’s construction has begun in 2018. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2021.
Phuket III Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 500/230kV and the operating voltage level is 500/230kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 230kV.
Phuket III Substation project development status
The development of the Phuket III Substation project was approved by Energy Regulatory Commission in 2018. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021. Approximately $29.5m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
