Pirapora II – Presidente Juscelino Line is a 500kV overhead line with a length of 344km from Pirapora, Minas Gerais, Brazil, to Presidente Juscelino, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2021.

Description

Pirapora II – Presidente Juscelino Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Operador Nacional do Sistema Eletrico. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through single circuit cable.

The development of the Pirapora II – Presidente Juscelino Line project has been approved by the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Brazil.

The construction works on the Pirapora II – Presidente Juscelino Line project were commenced in 2020 and commissioning is expected in 2021.
