Description
Southwestern Electric Power, Northeast Texas Electric Cooperative and Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 85.94%, 11.72% and 2.34% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is lignite. In case of shortage of lignite the plant can also run on Subbituminous.
The project generated 4,601,840MWh of electricity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in January 1985.
Contractors Involved
Siemens Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project. The company provided 1 steam turbine with 721MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Energy supplied electric generator for the project.
Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises supplied steam boiler for the project.
