Description

The project was developed by Ponte de Pedra Energetica and Webuild. The project is currently owned by Engie Brasil Energia with a stake of 100%.

Ponte de Pedra is a run-of-river project. The gross head of the project is 240m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 3 in number. The penstock length is 180m. The penstock diameter is 6m. The project generated 1,152 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 58.7MW nameplate capacity.

The project has 3 electric generators installed at the site.
