RES Group (Renewable Energy Systems) has sold the 35 MW battery storage project to infrastructure and private equity investment manager Foresight Group. According to RES, the project is part of the National Grid’s Enhanced Frequency Response (EFR).
Gresham House Energy Storage Fund plc has become the owner of a 35-MW battery facility in Port of Tyne and a 10-MW system in Essex, Nevendon.
