Gas was the top category in thermal technology in terms of number of contracts for the month, accounting for 34 contracts and a 77.3% share, followed by Coal with eight contracts and an 18.2% share. Oil stood in third place with two contracts and a 4.5% share.

Asia-Pacific leads thermal contracts activity in December 2020

Comparing contracts activity in thermal technology in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 19 contracts and a share of 45.2% during December 2020, followed by North America with eight contracts and a 19% share and Europe with seven contracts and a 16.7% share.

In fourth place was Middle East and Africa with five contracts and an 11.9% share and in fifth place was South and Central America with three contracts and a 7.1% share.
