Looking at global power contracts activity divided by the type of technology, solar held the top position in terms of number of contracts during Q2 2021 with a 50.3% share.

The proportion of contracts by category in the Solar technology tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 214 contracts and a 47.1% share
  2. Power Purchase Agreement: 153 contracts and a 33.7% share
  3. Supply & Erection: 60 contracts and a 13.2% share
