Looking at global power contracts activity divided by the type of technology, solar held the top position in terms of number of contracts during Q3 2020 with a 45.7% share.

The proportion of contracts by category in the Solar technology tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 233 contracts and a 52.7% share
  2. Power Purchase Agreement: 113 contracts and a 25.6% share
  3. Supply & Erection: 74 contracts and a 16.7% share

Comparing contracts activity in solar technology in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 186 contracts and a share of 42.1% during Q3 2020, followed by Asia-Pacific with 112 contracts and a 25.3% share and North America with 97 contracts and a 21.9% share.
