Asia-Pacific leads electricity procurement activity in August 2021
Comparing contracts activity in electricity procurement segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 36 contracts and a share of 38.7% during August 2021, followed by North America with 32 contracts and a 34.4% share and Europe with 16 contracts and a 17.2% share.

Among the technologies, solar accounted for 61 contracts with a 59.2% share, followed by wind with 30 contracts and a 29.1% share and hydro with six contracts and a 5.8% share.
