Looking at global power tenders activity divided by the type of technology, solar held the second position in terms of number of tenders during Q1 2020 with a 37.5% share.

The top issuers of tenders in Solar technology for the quarter in terms of power capacity involved were:

  1. Solar Energy Corporation of India (India): 9,484MW from eight tenders
  2. NTPC (India): 1,986.3MW from six tenders
