The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 19 contracts and a 90.5% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two contracts and a 9.5% share.

Europe leads T&D equipment activity in August 2021

Comparing contracts activity in T&D equipment segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with six contracts and a share of 28.6% during August 2021, followed by Middle East and Africa with five contracts and a 23.8% share and Asia-Pacific with four contracts and a 19% share.

Wind is leading technology for T&D equipment contracts in August 2021

Among the technologies, wind accounted for seven contracts with a 63.6% share, followed by solar with three contracts and a 27.3% share and thermal with one contract and a 9.1% share.
