- Project Implementation: 95 contracts and an 84.8% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: eight contracts and a 7.1% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: five contracts and a 4.5% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: four contracts and a 3.6% share.
Asia-Pacific leads power plant activity in December 2021
Comparing contracts activity in power plant segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 62 contracts and a share of 55.4% during December 2021, followed by Europe with 29 contracts and a 25.9% share and North America with 11 contracts and a 9.8% share.

The top issuers of power plant contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:
- Solar Energy Corporation of India (India): 1,885MW from seven contracts
- Weyerhaeuser (United States) and Danish Energy Agency (Denmark): 1,000MW from one contract
- Anhui Energy Group (China): 900MW capacity from one contract.

- Powerchina Huadong Engineering (China): 802MW capacity from one contract.
