Description

The project is being developed by Access Infra Africa and EREN Renewable Energy (EREN RE). The project is co-owned by Access Infra Africa, EREN Renewable Energy (EREN RE) and Quaint Global Energy Nigeria, with their respective ownership stake of 33.33% each.

ABIBA Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 150 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 82,500MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 200,000 households.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading under a power purchase agreement. The offtake capacity is expected to be 50MW.
