Description

The project was developed by LIncoln Legacy. EDP Renovaveis and DIF Capital Partners are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

Agincourt Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 79 acres.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 1,667 households.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2014 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in November 2014.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern California Edison under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years, starting from 2014.

Contractors involved

Abengoa was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 40,640 modules at the site.

The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by Exosun.
