Aktina Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 4,000 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 100,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $637.31m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by July 2023.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Electric Reliability Council of Texas under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors involved
Rosendin Electric is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
JinkoSolar Holding will be the supplier of the PV modules for the solar power project. The company is expected to install 1,400,000 modules at the site.
Sungrow Power Supply is likely to be the supplier of 3,600 inverters to the project site.
The project will utilise single axis tracker that are likely to be supplied by GameChange Solar.
Origis Energy USA is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the solar PV power project.
