The project was developed by Generacion Fotovoltaica De Alarcos and Synergia Energy Solutions. The project is currently owned by RWE with a stake of 100%.

Alarcos Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 90 hectares.

The project generates 99GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 25,000 households.

The project consists of 150,720 modules, each with 330W nameplate capacity.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Audax Renovables under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years from 2020. The contracted capacity is 45MW.
