Description

The project is being developed by Enbridge and EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg. Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, Enbridge and EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg are currently owning the project. The project will be spread over an area of 39km².

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2019. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by January 2020.

Albatros (Albatros I) will be equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SWT-7.0-154 turbines. The phase consists of 16 turbines with 7MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Albatros (Albatros I). The operation and maintenance contract tenure will likely be commencing from 2020, for a period of 5 years.
