Description

The project was developed by Acciona Energia. Acciona Energia, Mitsubishi and KKR are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 44%, 34% and 22% respectively.

Amareleja Solar Park - A is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 250 hectares.

The project generates 93GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households, offsetting 89,373t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved

Acciona Energia was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Yingli Green Energy Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 262,080 modules at the site.

Ingeteam Corporacion supplied 70 of its Ingecon SUN 500TL inverters to the project site.
