SMC Global Power Holdings and Korea Water Resources are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60% and 40% respectively.

Angat Main is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 850 million cubic meter. Angat Main (Angat Auxiliary units 1,2) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1989-1990.Angat Main (Angat Main Phase I) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1985-1987.Angat Main (Angat Main Phase II) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1988-1989.

Angat Main (Angat Auxiliary unit 3) consists of 1 unit of francis turbine with 6MW nameplate capacity.
