Description
The project is being developed by Hyundai Engineering and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power. The project is co-owned by Hyundai Engineering, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and Others, with their respective ownership stake of 33.33% each.
The project is expected to generate 1,400,000MWh of electricity. The project will be spread over an area of 92km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed jacket foundations.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.
Contractors involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 38 turbines, each with 14MW nameplate capacity.
