Description
The project is being developed by Arrow Canyon Solar and is currently owned by EDF Renewables North America.
Arrow Canyon Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 1,387 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 76,000 households, to offset 632,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $277.75m.
The solar power project consists of 621,093 modules.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to NV Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 200MW.
