Description
The project is being developed by Ashwood Solar I, MAP Energy Solutions and Open Road Renewables. The project is currently owned by Ashwood Solar I.
Ashwood I Solar PV Park is planned over 800 acres.
The project is expected to generate 200,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 14,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $86.86m.
The solar power project consists of 300,000 modules.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Kentucky Municipal Power Agency under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 54MW.
