Description
The project was developed by Valmet and is currently owned by Orsted with a stake of 100%.
The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 800,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood chips which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors involved
Doosan Skoda Power was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 2 units of Double-casing extraction turbine turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.
Valmet supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 540°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 100bar.
