The project is being developed by CAPEC Green Energy and TSATEK Green Energy. The project is currently owned by CAPEC Green Energy with a stake of 100%.

Astana (Astana_II) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V117-3.45 MW turbines. The phase consists of 14 turbines with 3.45MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Astana (Astana_I). The O&M tenure will likely be commencing from the year 2019.

Vestas Wind Systems is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Astana (Astana_II) for a period of 10 years.
