The project was developed by Gauss Energia and is currently owned by Corporacion Aura Solar.
Aura II Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 145 hectares.
The project generates 109,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 80,000 households. The project cost is $120m.
The project consists of 200,000 modules.
Development status
The project got commissioned in August 2015.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Empresa Nacional de Energia Electrica under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Grupo Isolux Corsan was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
