Austin East Blackland Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 932 acres.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 27,000 households. The project cost is $165m.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Austin Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years. The contracted capacity is 144MW.

Signal Energy Constructors was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 489,600 modules at the site.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Array Technologies.
Duke Energy Renewables is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
