The project was developed by Avaada Energy. Avaada Energy and Global Renewable Synergy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 57.07% and 42.93% respectively.
Avaada Mithisurena Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 220 acres.
The project generates 75,740MWh electricity thereby offsetting 75,740t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Haryana Power Purchase Center under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.036kWh for a period of 25 years, starting from 2020. The contracted capacity is 50MW.
Contractors involved
Risen Energy was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 151,530 modules each with 330W of nameplate capacity.
Sineng Electric (INDIA) supplied 16 of its EP-3125-HA-UD-v0.51 inverters to the project site.
