The project was developed by Apex Clean Energy Holdings. CMS Enterprises, The Kansai Electric Power and Ares Management are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 48.5% and 0.5% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 196,000 households.

Aviator Wind Farm (Aviator-I) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 2 MW-127 turbines. The phase consists of 55 turbines with 2.82MW nameplate capacity.

Aviator Wind Farm (Aviator-II) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 2 MW-116 turbines. The phase consists of 136 turbines with 2.72MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2020.
