Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority. The company has a stake of 100%.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant that will be used for Peakload. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Diesel.

Elsewedy Power System Projects is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase IV) project. Siemens Energy is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase II) project. Siemens Energy is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase IV) project.

Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase I) will be equipped with Mitsubishi Power 701D gas turbines. The phase consists of 6 gas turbines with 100MW nameplate capacity.

Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase II) will be equipped with Siemens Energy gas turbines. The phase consists 3 gas turbines.

Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase III) will be equipped with Siemens Energy gas turbines. The phase consists of 4 gas turbines, each with 200MW nameplate capacity.

Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase IV) will be equipped with Siemens Energy gas turbines. The phase consists 3 gas turbines.

Siemens Energy is expected to be the supplier of SGen5-100A-2P electric generator for the Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase II).

Siemens Energy is expected to be the supplier of SGen5-1200A electric generator for the Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase IV).

Siemens Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Aweer "H" Power Station (Aweer "H" Power Station Phase III) for a period of 12 years.
