The project is developed and owned by Enel.

Bargi is a pumped storage project. The gross head of the project is 375.2m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 2 in number. The penstock diameter is 4.4m. Bargi underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1975. The project generated 354.1 GWh of electricity.
